Trump's Family Member Gets Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for significant competition

The rising star maintains impressive social media following

Kai Trump can count on multiple well-known supporters as she begins her first LPGA appearance this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be the granddaughter of Donald Trump, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.

Her grandfather, someone who loves golf, owns numerous courses worldwide and frequently competes against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have tight competitions," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically advised me to compete and enjoy myself," she continued.

"To me, he's just a normal grandpa. He's not attending for the tournament. He's focused on presidential duties, making him quite busy."

Being non-professional, the golfer has participated in just three tournaments in 2024 and maintains position 461 in AJGA standings.

Yet she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.

"He represents the top athlete in the world," the young golfer said.

"Additionally, he's a superior individual. He advised me to play, have fun, following the flow."

She'll challenge several most prominent players in professional golf at the Annika, featuring world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials commented that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to different demographics, especially among younger fans.

The social media influencer has substantial online presence and recently launched an exclusive apparel and wellness company.

The competition starts at late afternoon GMT.
