The children's author David Walliams parted ways with book publisher.
Best-selling young adult author and entertainer David Walliams has been dropped by his publisher HarperCollins UK, according to an announcement.
A representative for the firm said: "After careful consideration, and with the guidance of its recently appointed chief executive, HarperCollins UK has chosen to cease publishing future works by David Walliams."
Reports indicate that the decision was reached following an review of allegations of questionable actions involving female individuals.
The firm did not confirm the specific rationale behind the move, adding: "It is not our policy to discuss private personnel issues."
A Prolific Writing Journey
Walliams ranks among Britain's most successful children's authors, with sales exceeding more than 60 million copies worldwide in dozens of tongues.
The debut children's novel from Walliams, *The Boy in the Dress*, was published by HarperCollins back in 2008.
A number of his books, such as *Gangsta Granny* and *Billionaire Boy*, have subsequently been turned into small-screen adaptations.
To date, he has released more than 40 books in total, including a festive story called *Santa & Son*, which was released through HarperCollins in October.

His initial claim to fame came on the TV sketch series *Little Britain* and has also won National Television Awards for his duties as an arbiter on *Britain's Got Talent*.
He was made an OBE several years ago for his services to philanthropic and artistic endeavors.
This move occurs subsequent to the selection of Kate Elton as HarperCollins UK's new chief executive last fall.
